Timed Writing (English 3/4)
This essay was written in my senior English class. It was written as a timed writing, meaning we had only 40 minutes to complete the writing. Although we were only allowed to have 40 minutes, we were allowed to bring an outline with us. The outline was the most important tool I could have asked for. Through doing this writing exercise, I have realized that I do some of my best work under pressure.
Science Report (Biology)
My second artifact is a report on a fictional lake that I did for my Biology class my junior year. The project was really interesting because we were supposed to test a bunch of water samples with PH strips and diagnose the state of the lake's ecosystem. It was pretty cool to see how different levels of acidity affected the different wild life and how the lake was simulated by the education company.
Macbeth Video (English 2)
For our sophomore year, we read Macbeth in English and this video is the result of that. We had to act, produce, direct, and edit the video ourselves and it was actually quite fun. I didn't enjoy acting as much as some of my group members did, but I had a lot of fun with props and the directing of the video. I think this was one of my favorite project to do throughout my years at ACLC, mostly because of the memories attached to that day and the fun I had making the video with my friends.
